(Eastern shore Virginia, 1800's)

 

Has backsplash and two dove-tailed drawers at top over two reverse raised panel doors at the bottom.  Turned ball feet and porcelain knobs.

Pine Stepback Cupboard

(Frederick Co., Maryland

c. 1890-1910)

 

Two-piece stepback in dark stain; all shelves are grooved for plates.

One large drawer with rolling pin handles over two doors.

Chippendale Lowboy

c. 1870

 

Walnut.  One-over-three drawer configuration.  Drawers have carved shell and scroll design.  All drawers beautifully dovetailed with hand-planed bottoms.  Quarter-fluted corner column, carved knees, handsome skirt valance.  All legs have claw-and-ball foot.  Similar in design to the Philadelphia style of the 1760s.
